Google gets rid of Right Hand Ads, what’s next?

Unless you have been at a desert with no phone or device for that matter, you know that Google has since February 2016 removed Right Hand side ads of the Search Engine Results Page-SERPS (on a desktop). What this means is that initially the page looked like this :
